Speaker Biographies Walt Straka, Bataan Death March Survivor
Walt joined the reserves in 1936. He was called up in 1941 and was shipped out in July of 41. He said he was shipped to mainland Japan in July of 44 and worked slave labor at factories in Kiercook.
