God And Country Veterans Event October 23rd to October 25th , 2014 Kingston, NY
Thursday, October 23rd Welcome reception dinner at Frank Guidos Little Italy restaurant. Donation for dinner $20.00 Harley riders encouraged. See Joi at Woodstock Harley Davidson for participating in a motorcade reception at the restuarant.
Friday, October 24th Assembly at the Kingston High School. The veteran speakers will talk to 600 plus students in the auditorium for periods 2 & 3. Then at 4th period, the veteran speakers will break up into pairs and go into six different history classes and have more personal time with the students. 12:15 pm Veteran Speakers will visit Stucky Embrodery in Boiceville, NY 1:00 pm Veteran Speakers will be received by Woodstock Harley Davidson for lunch. 3:00 pm Veteran Speakers will visit the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor museum in New Windsor, NY. Harley riders encouraged to lead the way from Woodstock Harley Davidson to the museum. See Joi at Woodstock Harley Davidson for details. 6:00 pm Private dinner at the Garden Plaza Hotel.
Saturday, October 25th Living History Conference 8:30 am - 4:15 pm 40 minute break for lunch (lunch not included in price of ticket) Featuring notable veterans from WWII-today sharing about their experiences of war. The conference will be held at the Garden Plaza Hotel (formerly the Kingston Holiday Inn). Listen to the stories from the greatest generation to today's heroes. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear live history. You will hear great stories of battle and survival that you just can't get in a book or classroom, you will get to hear WWII veterans talk about surviving Pearl Harbor, The Bataan Death March, D-Day Landing, The Pacific & Eurpoean Theater and the forgotten war and the Vietnam veteran who had to fight an elusive enemy only to return home unwelcomed. Then September 11th changed our world. We were thrown into a war we knew little about. Come hear what today's veteran from Iraq and Afghanistan are going through.

Saturday evening, October 25th Closing Dinner. Cocktails 6:00 to 7:00 pmDinner 7:00 to 9:00 pm Congressman Chris Gibson to attend and entertainment by singer Joli Dunham. Sunday morning, October 26th....Veteran Speakers return home.
